Ridge Meadows Farm began as a grass-fed beef farm. Each animal is raised on our farm pastures, rotating to fresh paddocks every day. Our beef animals do not receive any grain. They only graze during the growing season, and eat hay and free-choice minerals during the winter months. We find the quality, taste, and nutritional value of our beef is superior to grain fed animals.
Each fall, our beef are processed locally at The Royal Butcher-a USDA inspected facility- in Braintree, and sold to customers as either wholesale halves or individual retail cuts. We are fortunate to have a processing facility so close to home and part of our community. Our personal relationship and close proximity guarantees the highest-quality finished product, keeps transportation costs low and stress on the animals to a minimum.
